With experience working in a school setting as part of a team and being a student-athlete my entire life, I have seen firsthand how important teamwork and collaboration are. The therapeutic journey should be a safe and collaborative environment so that everyone can work together to achieve the best results. Everyone has different strengths that they can bring to the table and something that they can be proud of. It is my goal to help identify, explore, and foster those strengths while accepting and embracing our weaknesses so that we are able to grow together.
While creating a safe and comforting environment, I also aim to add some “fun” into sessions by introducing playful elements such as games, creative activities, or humor. Incorporating fun into therapy can transform the therapeutic process into an engaging and enriching experience. “The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.” – Nelson Mandela.
“Beyond the therapy room: I love to spend time with my dog, go to concerts and spend time at the lake.”
