Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health & Bachelor of Science in Biology
My clinical experience spans individual, family, and group therapy. In a partial hospitalization/intensive outpatient program (PHP/IOP) setting, I developed therapeutic skills to help individuals navigate mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, personality disorders, grief, trauma, family conflict, and substance use disorders.
I’ve had the privilege of working with a diverse range of adults from various socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. I enjoy working with client motivated to make meaningful and positive changes tailored to their individual needs. Recently, I’ve been exploring the work of Steven C. Hayes, the clinical psychologist who developed acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). His perspective on mindfulness resonates with me: “The process of living is like taking a very long road trip. The destination may be important, but the journey experienced day to day and week to week is what is invaluable.”
My commitment to my clients is reflected in my empathetic, understanding, and person-centered approach. I strive to be a valuable partner in their journey toward self-actualization and mental well-being.
“I enjoy volunteering with ASPCA in their trap-neuter-release program, fostered kittens, and helped cats find their forever homes.”
