I truly believe that there is not a one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to incorporating modalities and skills into therapy. I am passionate about working collaboratively to better understand what resonates most with you as we strive towards your goals together in our sessions. As a therapist, my hope is to be there for you as you learn to better understand and be there for yourself by providing a safe, non-judgmental space to strive towards your goals. Life can be incredibly challenging, and no matter what you are going through, you deserve to feel supported and heard.
My prior work in school, non-profit, crisis intervention, substance abuse/addiction, and private practice settings has provided me with a solid foundation and a broad range of insight and experience serving people of varying ages, backgrounds, identities, and abilities.
My focus is to hone in on your strengths and resilience while simultaneously working through the difficulties you may be enduring. By fostering a trusting relationship, we can work through your challenges and stressors together in order to get you on track to living a more fulfilling and joyous life. I enjoy working with individuals from all walks of life facing various issues and am especially passionate about working with young adults, couples, and anxiety/OCD-related disorders.
As Margaret Cousins once said, “Appreciation can make a day—even change a life. Your willingness to put it into words is all that is necessary.” I look forward to helping you find that appreciation in your journey.
“Beyond the therapy room: I love traveling to new places around the world with my friends and family.”
