“You can’t stop the waves, but you can learn to surf.” — Jon Kabat-Zinn
Beginning therapy is an opportunity to give yourself the time and space to better understand who you are and what you need. My goal is to create a welcoming, supportive environment where you can show up as your authentic self, bringing both your strengths and the challenges you’re carrying without fear of judgment. Together, we’ll work to build insight, develop practical coping skills, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.
My approach to therapy integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based interventions. I believe that while we can’t always control the circumstances life brings, we can strengthen our ability to respond with greater resilience, self-awareness, and confidence. I tailor each session to meet your individual needs, helping you develop skills that feel realistic, empowering, and sustainable in everyday life.
One of the aspects of therapy I value most is exploring the many layers that make each person unique. Identity, culture, relationships, and life experiences all shape how we see ourselves and navigate the world. I find it deeply meaningful to explore these experiences alongside my clients, creating a collaborative space where you feel understood, respected, and supported throughout your journey.
I especially enjoy working with teens, young adults, adults, and couples as they navigate life’s transitions, relationship challenges, and personal growth. Whether you’re managing anxiety, adjusting to change, strengthening communication, or simply looking to better understand yourself, I’m committed to meeting you where you are and helping you move toward the life you want to create.
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy trying new experiences—whether that’s a workout class I’ve never taken before or learning a new activity. I also love running, kickboxing, yoga, and skiing during the winter months. When I’m relaxing at home, you’ll usually find me reading, working on a puzzle, or spending time with my two favorite companions: my dog and my cat, who always keep life interesting.
