With a decade of dedicated service as a School Social Worker, I have had the privilege of working closely with children and teenagers, spanning the spectrum from preschool to high school. This extensive experience has ignited a profound passion within me – a commitment not only to advocate for the well-being of children but also to weave wellness and mindfulness into my therapeutic practice.
My journey toward holistic healing and mindfulness led me to pursue yoga certifications for both adults and children. Central to my practice is a firm belief in a strengths-based approach. I’m dedicated to helping young people recognize and embrace their fullest potential, working collaboratively to achieve their unique goals. My primary objective as a practitioner is to provide a secure and nurturing space where individuals can freely express themselves, embracing their authentic selves and fostering positive growth.
Beyond my professional life, I possess a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and an enthusiasm for exploring new horizons through travel. This curiosity about the world informs my therapeutic approach, encouraging an inclusive and open-minded perspective.
Gandhi eloquently articulated, “Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.” It is my sincere hope to guide you toward that harmonious state of being, where your thoughts, words, and actions align seamlessly, creating a life rich in contentment and well-being.
“Beyond the therapy room: I grew up visiting my family in Portugal every summer from a young age, which sparked a major interest in traveling and my love for other cultures.”
