I pursue my work with motivated adults and couples who are open to introspection and seek to understand the complexity of their problems. I see a diverse range of clients and issues and specialize in treating those who struggle with anxiety and social disorders, depression, relationship issues, and career difficulties. Clients who thrive in my approach are curious about themselves, the world, and human nature.
My diverse experiences have cultivated my passion for working with motivated teens, adults, and couples who are eager to embark on a journey of introspection and gain a deeper understanding of their lives.
My goal is to help clients better understand themselves. I enter each session with curiosity and openness and pursue authenticity to provide a unique encounter. As clients gain greater self-awareness, they can discover new possibilities, become freer, and assert themselves as agents of their own self-actualization. While guided by Psychodynamic and Existential principles, I adopt an integrative approach that blends elements of various theories. My technique is shaped by clinical practice, which spans a range of clients and settings, my pursuit of knowledge, my curiosity about the world, and my own life experiences.
I enjoy reading, spending time with my children and family, and practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in my free time. I am a mid-life career changer who spent well over a decade working within the corporate environment for various companies, despite my inner voice calling for something different.
In the words of Viktor E. Frankl, “When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.”.
“Beyond the therapy room: I enjoy reading, spending time with my children and family, and practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in my free time.”
