Kaitlynn Owens, MSW, LCSW

As a therapist my biggest mission is to create a safe space, and build trust with the individuals I work with. I have worked with individuals, families, and couples. I am aware that many of us do not have a place where we can be authentic and true to ourselves in every aspect. Assisting clients in identifying realistic goals to help them move toward their most genuine self is something that I am passionate about. Recognizing that we are all unique, is one of the most helpful insights that assists in guiding me through my career.

Professionally and personally, I am aware that there are internal mental messages and blockages that have been created in our minds since the day we were born.

That is where I come to assist clients in becoming the truest version of themselves, utilizing evidence based practices and analyzing things from a strengths- based perspective. I use evidence- based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Based Therapy, and Mindfulness techniques to assist in rewriting the narrative that you tell yourself everyday.
