“Rarely, if ever, are any of us healed in isolation. Healing is an act of communion.” — Bell Hooks
Choosing to begin therapy takes courage, and I believe the process is most meaningful when you feel truly seen, heard, and accepted. My goal is to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are—without judgment—and explore your experiences with curiosity, compassion, and honesty. Together, we’ll work to better understand the patterns that have shaped your life while building greater awareness of what you need in the present moment.
My therapeutic style is eclectic, drawing primarily from Gestalt, person-centered, and feminist approaches. I believe that clients are the experts on their own lives, and my role is not to provide all the answers but to walk alongside you as you discover your own strengths, insight, and capacity for change. I emphasize collaboration and authenticity in our work together, creating a therapeutic relationship built on trust, empathy, and genuine connection.
I also recognize that our experiences don’t exist in isolation. Family relationships, culture, gender, and broader societal influences all shape how we see ourselves and navigate the world. I strive to honor these experiences while helping clients understand the ways they impact emotional well-being, relationships, and personal growth. Together, we’ll work toward creating lasting change that feels authentic to who you are.
As both a parent and a mental health professional, I’ve seen how much pressure young people carry that never gets named. I work with teens and young adults navigating identity development, complex family dynamics, and the challenge of balancing responsibility to others with staying true to themselves. Intergenerational expectations often sit underneath all of it. My hope is that every client leaves therapy feeling more connected to themselves, empowered in their choices, and confident in their ability to move forward.
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy traveling and exploring new cultures—I have visited more than 35 countries and appreciate the perspective, adaptability, and connection that travel brings. When I’m not planning my next adventure, you’ll often find me swimming, hiking with my dogs, or volunteering with a New Jersey family support hotline, where I help provide parents with guidance, resources, and compassionate support during difficult moments.
