As humans we have a basic need to feel heard and validated, and it is this belief that guides my work as a therapist.
I have experience working as a counselor in both academic and therapeutic settings with adolescents through adults. I am also a certified yoga instructor and apply mindfulness and breath awareness to treatment where appropriate when the client and myself see fit.
My specialties include coping with anxiety, self-esteem, work-related stress and burnout, navigating relationships, life transitions including moving, family and relationship changes, and transitioning to high-school, college, and post-grad.
I understand how difficult it can be to take the first step in the process of finding a therapist. I am happy to answer any questions you may have and want to offer you non-judgmental support throughout. I hope we make a connection as we begin this journey together.
NON-JUDGEMENTAL AND SUPPORTIVE
Rachel is a great listener who knows just when to ask the right question. I instantly formed a trusting open relationship with her. Her ability to be non-judgemental and supportive makes her an invaluable therapist.
If you are looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation or you are just ready to move in a new direction in your life, we look forward to working with you to achieve your goals.
