Master of Social Work & Bachelor of Science in Business Management Registered Yoga Teacher
As a licensed social worker and registered yoga teacher, I bring a holistic perspective to the therapeutic process. My journey as a therapist has led me through various private practice settings, where I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals spanning the entire lifespan. Together, we’ve tackled challenges related to depressive disorders, anxiety, mood imbalances, complex life transitions, and the intricacies of family and relationship dynamics.
At the heart of my therapeutic approach lies a profound understanding of emotions. I believe that by recognizing and embracing our emotional landscape, we can pave the way for profound growth and transformation. My style is inherently integrative, allowing me to draw from a diverse toolkit of techniques. However, I place a special emphasis on mindfulness-based practices, including yoga and meditation. This personalized approach ensures that our therapeutic journey aligns seamlessly with your unique needs and aspirations.
But beyond techniques and strategies, I understand that the most essential element of successful therapy is the therapeutic relationship itself. I approach this relationship with compassion, curiosity, and even humor. Yes, humor! By cultivating a bond built on trust and authenticity, I aim to create a safe, supportive, and comfortable space where you can explore your inner self with confidence.
Beyond the therapy room, my passion extends to my family life. As a mother to three young children, I deeply appreciate the importance of nurturing our own emotional well-being. I firmly believe that by tending to our mental and emotional health, we not only benefit ourselves but also set a powerful example for our kids. In particular, I am dedicated to providing fellow mothers with a secure sanctuary for connection, reflection, and rejuvenation.
Viktor Frankl once said, “Between stimulus and response, there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.” This wisdom resonates deeply with my therapeutic philosophy, and I’m here to help you harness that power, embrace growth, and discover your path to freedom.”
“Beyond the therapy room: I am a former athlete and love spending time being active with my family.”
